at Chaos Springs Farm, 131 Deam Road, Waihi

Join us for an inspiring day with an outstanding group of seasoned organic farmers, including:

John Pearce: John will talk about his Dung Beetle breading program at Shelly Beach where he and his wife Norrie have been farming Biodynamically for about 40 years.

Cathy Yates: Cathy & David Yates come from the original Yates seed farm which has been in their family for over 100 years. Their robotic milking system is one of the first in the country. First certified in 2005, they have a long history of organic management.

Kathy Bentham: Organic farmers Kathy & Doug Bentham have farmed most things. Starting 23 years ago with milking goats outdoors, they now milk cows and goats near Te Aroha. They also grow maize and raise beef and sheep on their forestry block near Whangamata.

Matthew Minopiro: Young Matt is in his sixth season as an Organic Dairy Farmer. Now running as a one man band on a family owned farm, Matt milks 160 cows on a low input system on the foothills of Mount Pirongia.
