 Farm Field Day on

Soils, Pasture Diversity, and Carbon Sequestration

 Wednesday June 7th 2017

to be held at

Phyllis Tichinin’s dairy support block

652 Craggy Range Road, Havelock North

 Presentation Topics:       

  • Before and After Biological Ferts
  • Getting 20+ species in the Pasture
  • Carbon Sequestration and Credits
  • Reading Animal Hair Coats

Schedule:  Start 9:30 am with morning tea, then field walk til 12 noon.  Talks on Soils, C Seq, Pastures & Animals after lunch.   Discussion of ODPG outreach and refreshments after talks.

No charge for ODPG members.   $20 for non-members.
